Downtown Definitely Events

Downtown Definitely Events is a free community event series produced by the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation, with Bella Events Group along with Dalmath Associates serving as the consulting and managing partners since the series launched in 2022. The program takes place in downtown Rochester from June through September and celebrates the heart of the city through accessible, high-quality public events.

Since its inception, Bella Events Group has led planning, logistics, and on-site management for the series, helping shape a program that activates public spaces, supports local partners, and brings the community together. The 2025 season marked a significant milestone, welcoming more than 17,600 people to downtown Rochester across 17 free events.

Programming has included returning favorites at Parcel 5 such as Midday Bash, Movies With a Downtown View, RPO Under the Stars, and MVP Fall Fest, along with new experiences along the Genesee River at Austin Steward Plaza, including Yoga on the Riverway and Sunset Sips.

Downtown Definitely Events is a joint initiative of New York State Empire State Development, ROC2025, Rochester Downtown Development Corporation, Rochester Downtown Partnership, and the City of Rochester.
